Job Summary

Premise Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Manchester, TN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our on-site health centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct health assessments, make differential diagnoses, and prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments as needed.
  • Implement patient care plans through independent action, health counseling, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation on health care policy and procedure, as well as administration of on-site health services.
  • Perform physical examinations, preventive health measures, and order diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans as necessary.
  • Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy or inhalation therapy.
  • Refer patients to physicians for consultation or to specialized healthcare resources for treatment.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and educate nursing staff on best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Science of Nursing (or equivalent)
  • State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license (if required in your state)
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer or ACLS) certification
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting
