Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Faculty Group Practice Radiology Patient Flow Associate to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in coordinating and expediting patient care in the imaging section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient movement and flow within the radiology department
  • Communicate effectively with radiology staff, patients, and families to ensure smooth patient care
  • Utilize EPIC to track patients and prioritize patient movement
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and radiologic technologists to prepare patients for examinations
  • Facilitate storing patient valuables and documenting their location in electronic medical records
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EPIC
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
