We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, MRI, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Assist in the management of patient flow, ensuring exams are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Present images to physicians for diagnosis and interpretation.
- Perform minor repairs and calibration checks on equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and report major issues to management.
- Assist in patient flow, including scheduling exams and ensuring patients are prepared for procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.) required for positions filled after September 5, 2010.
- ARRT registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required within eighteen (18) months of entry date into positions filled after September 5, 2010.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience as a Radiology Technologist, required. Previous MRI experience, preferred.
- BLS through the American Heart Association.
