Medical Review Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Review Officer to join our team at Leidos QTC Health Services. As a Medical Review Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of medical examinations and determinations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough reviews of medical examination results to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory guidelines.
- Apply nuanced understanding of exam results to render high-quality medical determinations regarding job position eligibility, medical surveillance, and regulatory compliance.
- Exercise independent decision-making and judgment in interpreting medical information and making determinations.
- Collaborate with exam management teams to ensure efficient processing of medical determinations.
- Communicate exam results and provide medical determinations to clients in support of their occupational health business needs.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with current, active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
- ABMS Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Minimum 5 years of outpatient clinical practice experience, including standard office-based diagnostic testing.
- Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as MS Office products.
- Strong analytical ability to research and interpret detailed medical information and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- MRO Certification.
- Experience with dictation equipment and federally regulated medical examinations.
- Active government clearance.
- Military background.
