Chief Medical Officer

UHC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical services at Jordan Valley, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local requirements, and driving growth strategies to expand our care services.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and direct the medical services team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
- Recommend programmatic direction, clinical staffing needs, and equipment/supply needs to the President/CEO and COO.
- Support and lead key programmatic changes in the clinical arena, as approved by the President/CEO, COO, or Board of Directors.
- Make written/oral reports to the COO, President/CEO, and Board of Directors, as required, concerning operations of the Medical Department.
- Assist in the recruitment of qualified physicians and additional staff to reach the goals of JVCHC.
- Develop and maintain written job performance evaluations for medical personnel and medical directors.
- Oversee and support the nursing care of clinical programs at JVCHC.
- Assist fellow clinicians as necessary to facilitate effective and timely healthcare to patients of JVCHC.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school and completed at least a three-year residency in a primary care specialty.
- At least one year of experience managing major clinical activities in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other medical facility.
- State license to practice medicine, including prescriptive privileges.
- Current Missouri license to practice medicine.
- Current DEA number.
- Must be fully eligible to participate in federal, state, and private insurance plans.
- Current BLS or ACLS Certificate required.
- Experience in a leadership role in a healthcare organization.
- Knowledge of clinical operations, medical staff management, and quality improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $300,000, executive bonus, incentive bonus structure, retention bonus annually, Monday-Friday work schedule, 2 days of clinical work, EPIC EMR System, and great medical benefits.
