As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for accurately performing patient assessments and identifying patient needs, initiating appropriate nursing interventions, providing care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, performing timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record, and completing and revising the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. You will also be responsible for performing timely and accurate QI assessments. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program, current state licensure as Registered Nurse, CPR/BCLS certification, ACLS preferred, CRRN Preferred, and minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Community Rehabilitation Hospital South is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and our Stroke Specialty Program. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
