Role Overview:

As a vital component of our guests' experiences, our volunteer coordinators play a key role in leading full-day excursions while fostering a sense of community throughout the holiday. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing volunteer relations through email and phone communication, ensuring their success, and facilitating their recognition.

  • Recruiting a diverse team of volunteer leaders and special interest guides for each holiday, ensuring all roles are filled.
  • Responding to inquiries, managing calls, and addressing emails from volunteers and special interest leaders.
  • Providing ongoing support and engagement for our leaders.
  • Recognizing and appreciating our leaders' contributions; motivating them to excel.
  • Proactively addressing performance issues and handling sensitive matters.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to cultivate trusting relationships with leaders.
  • Positive attitude and adaptable approach.
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines while prioritizing tasks and responding promptly to emerging issues.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and evenings to connect with our leaders.

  • Prior experience in volunteer management.
