Overview

The Village Active Life Plan Community is seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our activities department, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing engaging programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Activities Director in planning and executing activity programs that promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being among residents.
  • Develop and implement creative programs and events that foster a sense of community and social connection among residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of activities and programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, family members, and staff.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in activities or recreation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • High energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for creating engaging and meaningful experiences for residents.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
