Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Field Representative to support the Technical Assistance for Repairable Processing (TARP) Program. The successful candidate will provide Depot Level Repairable (DLR) and Secondary Repairable (SECREP) support to US Navy and Marines Corps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy on US Naval ships to provide Reverse Supply Chain expertise in AVDLR/DLR/SECREP policy and procedures, PHS&T training, eRMS training and assistance, and DLR retrograde movement.
  • Operate independently at assigned ashore activities to ensure proper P700-CNP packaging and handling and shipping of all DLRs back to required CONUS repair and storage depots or pack-up kit managers.
  • Assist assigned major and minor activities to include CVN/LHD Beach Detachments with RSC logistics.
  • Identify PHS&T discrepancies and inefficiencies and develop necessary POAMs to correct/improve current activity practices.
  • Provide expert advice in PHS&T techniques, resource support, facilities layout, and utilization, packaging materials and equipment, handling, storage, transportation, and retrograde system infrastructure.
  • Monitor and analyze assigned unit/ship/shore station's eRMS database and supply posture to ensure 100% carcass accountability and minimize additional damage to repairables during transit.
Requirements
  • Minimum twenty years work experience as a Navy Aviation Storekeeper (Logistics Specialist)/Maintenance Control Operations or as an Aviation Logistics Marine with experience in PHS&T Logistical Readiness, Transportation management, customer service operations, training support, hazardous material handling, and/or process review support.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Prior enlisted/officer military service and experience as an E-8 or above (an E-7 will be considered if extensive DLR management experience can be demonstrated).
  • Physically capable to deploy on US Naval vessels and adhere to all policies and procedures set by U.S. Navy.
  • Physically capable to travel remote locations to support ashore logistics operations.
  • College level courses taken in logistics or courses completed through the DOD.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deployed on a CVN and/or LDeck Ship.
  • Understanding of ATAC Operations.
  • Understanding of MIL-STD-2073-1E Methods of Preservation.
