Hotel Front Desk Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Home2 Suites. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage online and phone reservations, ensuring timely and effective communication with guests
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data to ensure secure transactions
  • Register guests, collecting necessary information and assigning rooms
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to their satisfaction
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate, to enhance the guest experience

Requirements:

  • Cheerful disposition and excellent communication skills
  • Hard worker with a customer service attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Accommodating personality and ability to work effectively in a team

Work Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, including day shift, overnight, and weekend availability
  • Holidays and Monday to Friday shifts
