Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Manage and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Participate in infection control initiatives to prevent the spread of diseases.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred.
  • Ability to obtain D.O.T. hazardous material certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a sterile/infection control environment.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to innovate new methods of service delivery.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Basic computer skills.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $22.32 per hour.
  • Competitive differentials rates:
    • $4.25 per hour - Evenings.
    • $8.00 per hour - Nights.
    • $4.75 per hour - Weekends.
