As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleanliness, waste management, and infection control services to our patients, clinical departments, ancillary departments, visitors, and staff 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and disinfection tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Manage and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Participate in infection control initiatives to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior work experience in the environmental services field preferred.
- Ability to obtain D.O.T. hazardous material certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a sterile/infection control environment.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to innovate new methods of service delivery.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Basic computer skills.
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $22.32 per hour.
- Competitive differentials rates:
- $4.25 per hour - Evenings.
- $8.00 per hour - Nights.
- $4.75 per hour - Weekends.
