Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Service Tech to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleanliness, waste management, and infection control services to our patients, clinical departments, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital policies and regulations
  • Participate in infection control initiatives to prevent the spread of diseases
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior work experience in environmental services or a related field
  • Ability to obtain DOT hazardous material certification
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
