Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the hospital.
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and monitor patient vital signs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a Compact license.
  • One year of experience in Emergency Services, preferably in a level II Trauma Center.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications within six months of hire.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
