Position Summary

The Branch Operations Director is responsible for developing and guiding a team of Project Managers and Supervisors, focusing on maximizing revenue and profitability within a designated geographic area. This role involves providing direction, coaching, and support to all direct reports while effectively managing multiple projects and claims. Branch Operations Directors are expected to be available for on-call duties alongside other management personnel.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this position include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for urgent matters.
  • Ensuring all aspects of branch operations facilitate timely billing and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Encouraging inter-office communication through regular staff meetings to drive the overall success of the branch.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with adjusters, clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to branch team members regarding current projects and priorities.
  • Continuously promoting the company's services to adjusters and potential clients.
  • Collaborating with Sales teams to achieve corporate revenue goals.
  • Driving financial success at the branch level in areas such as revenue, profit, billing, and DSO.
  • Conducting regular staff meetings or one-on-ones to ensure effective communication.
  • Ensuring timely processing of performance reviews for branch staff.
  • Making strategic decisions to positively influence branch success and meet deadlines.
  • Recruiting, managing, and maintaining a diverse workforce.
  • Encouraging employee growth and development through training initiatives.
  • Supporting the company's safe workplace policies and promoting adherence to these standards.

  • Demonstrated experience in branch management within the commercial and residential sectors, particularly in relation to water, fire, and mold restoration.

  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Ability to achieve production and target goals.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer relations.
  • Possesses leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and uplift team morale.
  • Basic knowledge of human resource management principles.

Working Environment

Working conditions for this position may include, but are not limited to:

  • Potentially requiring climbing, reaching, and bending during job site visits.
  • Traveling to job sites and occasionally attending management meetings.
  • Lifting up to 15 pounds.
