Position Overview:
Center for Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to enhance our team. This role involves operating MRI scanners to generate diagnostic images of patients' bodies, ensuring high-quality service and patient care.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $38 and $53.82, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As an MRI Imaging Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting patient screenings prior to MRI exams to identify any precautions or contraindications.
  • Explaining MRI procedures to patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Performing routine and advanced MRI scans on designated body parts for diagnostic purposes.
  • Adjusting MRI scan parameters as necessary to obtain optimal images.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of imaging protocols and training new staff members.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess the following:

  • ARRT registration as a technologist, in good standing.
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved radiography program.
  • State licensure as a Radiological Technologist, if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience and training sufficient to independently perform MRI procedures.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.
