Position Overview:
This role is for an MRI Imaging Specialist within the Inspira Health Network. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to generate MRI scans of various body regions as directed by medical professionals. This position involves working with diverse patient demographics, including individuals with cardiac, breast, gastrointestinal, and other medical conditions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Generate high-resolution MRI scans in accordance with established imaging protocols.
  • Ensure appropriate examination sequences and preparations tailored to patient age and condition.
  • Manage heavy equipment and comply with safety regulations concerning electrical and magnetic risks.
  • Travel between different facilities as required, maintaining a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a focus on MRI.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the capacity of an MRI technologist.
  • Possession of a New Jersey license and ARRT certification is preferred.
  • Must achieve MRI certification within six months of employment.
  • BLS certification is essential.
  • Completion of an IV training course within 90 days of employment is required.
