Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Imaging Services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sonography procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed.
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Analyze images and identify any issues with image quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.
  • Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within one year of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including patient care areas and equipment rooms. The successful candidate will be able to lift and move patients as needed, and will be exposed to various chemicals and radiation.
