Senior Enterprise Business Development Manager

DHL Express is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Aggressively seek and initiate new business relationships with non-buying accounts that have been targeted by the company
- Solicit and maintain favorable contacts with potential key accounts
- Identify decision makers and work to understand strategic business challenges and priorities
- Develop proposals and sales plans that support increased sales from targeted prospects
- Manage overall prospect relationships, including dealing with prospects' highest buying levels and coordinating the activities of prospect-focused teams
- Identify business opportunities, assess prospective customer needs, and match these with DHL's services to acquire new business
- Partner with local, district, and regional management to coordinate customer requests and services that are being promoted
- Coordinate sales efforts with inside sales and provide flow of data on account competitors and suppliers to product management
- Ensure professional sales coordination and account planning
- May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced business development positions
- Typically requires BS/BA in related subject area and 8-12 years of increasingly diverse or complex applications in field of expertise or MS/MA and generally at least 5-8 years of experience in related field
- Professional certification may be required in some areas
- Recognized subject matter expert
- Serves as prime consultant on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities and long-range goals /objectives
- Mastery of existing and emerging technologies, processes, and practices
- Develops new applications based on professional principles and technology development
