POSITION SUMMARY
This role is accountable for delivering administrative and organizational support for the property management and leasing office, with a primary focus on managing wait lists and organizing data for designated properties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and applicants as needed.
Maintain organized and accessible files in compliance with Conifer's operational standards, including updating wait list information and establishing new filing systems as required.
Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, mail handling, phone management, copying, scanning, and other assigned duties.Draft, prepare, and review correspondence, office memos, reports, and monthly newsletters, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Propose enhancements for correspondence when appropriate.
Manage a multi-line telephone system, accurately taking messages and professionally screening and directing calls.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail by operating the postage meter.
Efficiently operate standard office equipment, including multi-line telephones, computers with printers, photocopiers, fax machines, scanners, and postage meters.
Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.Exhibit flexibility to assist at other properties when required.
Regular physical presence at the assigned work location during scheduled hours is essential.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
An Associate's Degree in Business is advantageous.
Knowledge of compliance or prior experience with HUD-Sec. 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, or a willingness to learn is beneficial.
Certifications in the housing sector are a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in administrative office roles and customer service is essential.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar housing industry software is preferred.
Strong office clerical skills, including phone management, mail handling, and data entry.
The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $16.50 to $18.50. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and location. This range does not include additional compensation forms such as bonuses.
