About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Broadcast Technician to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. As a member of the Technology & Operations organization at NBCUniversal, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting broadcast technology, ensuring the reliability of our operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of field, newsgathering, and media production systems.
  • Support of remote sites, including microwave, remote camera, and transmitter plants.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, radio, television & film, or related fields.

The successful candidate will have expertise in media technology, including SDI video infrastructures, contribution & distribution encoding, live production systems, field / news gathering tools, and transmission systems.

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with an estimated salary of $80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within NBCUniversal.
