Job Overview:
NBCUniversal is seeking a skilled Broadcast Technician to join its team in Philadelphia, PA. As a member of the Technology & Operations organization, you will play a critical role in implementing and supporting broadcast technology and users within our mission-critical media production environment.

About the Role:
This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, radio, television & film, or a related field. The successful candidate will have expertise in supporting mid-to-major market news or live event production operations and 24x7 mission-critical technology facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of field, newsgathering, and media production systems.
  • Support of remote sites, including microwave, remote camera, and transmitter plants.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Provide efficient and effective technical support, incident response, and customer communication.
  • Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal cyber security policies and standards.

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, radio, television & film, or a related field

Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Eligibility Requirements:
* Must be willing to work at both locations in Roxborough, PA, and Philadelphia, PA.
* Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours, and on weekends with short notice.
* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
* Required to join the IBEW.
* Valid driver's license.
* Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Must be 18 years or older.
