Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Vice President to oversee the operational region, driving accountability for developing, implementing, and performing a multifamily development approach across our regional platform. The ideal candidate will leverage an integrated service model, providing strategic and tactical leadership to optimize performance and effectiveness, establishing and maintaining relationships with owners, landlords, tenants, and vendors, and achieving financial results that align with the overall corporate goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee an entire operational region, maintaining accountability for developing, implementing, and performing a multifamily development approach.
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to optimize performance and effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with owners, landlords, tenants, and vendors.
  • Drive financial results that align with the overall corporate goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • A college degree in communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years of multifamily property management leadership success with a large portfolio.
  • Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certifications preferred.
  • Active/participatory apartment association membership preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Firsthand experience in multi-site property management and residential property operations.
  • Supervisory skills sufficient to lead, direct, evaluate, and mentor subordinates and peer team members.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal, financial, and Human Resources documents.
  • Mathematical and analysis skills necessary to understand and interpret financial records, budgets, and other fiscal reporting information.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and use independent judgment on a continual basis to determine actions, priorities, and direct the work of others.
