Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Auburn Urogynecology and Women's Health. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, greeting patients, and addressing their needs in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of Medicare and other relevant insurance policies and procedures.
  • Perform front desk duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office correspondence.
  • Assist with medical office management, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) to computerize patient information and streamline clinical operations.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and adhere to all confidentiality and security standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that patient care plans are effectively implemented and monitored.
  • Utilize Athenahealth to manage patient information and optimize clinical operations.
Requirements
  • Experience in a medical office setting or related healthcare environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Proficiency in medical office management and computerization.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Medicare policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and security standards.
  • Experience with Athenahealth or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
