Phlebotomist Job Description

At Labcorp, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and providing vital information to our clients and patients. We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or Client office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information into our system accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
