Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Ams. This role is responsible for installing equipment, connecting voice and data telecommunications network connections, and performing various tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify service by testing and re-programming circuits, equipment, and alarms.
  • Identify and correct problems, confer with engineers.
  • Test network back-up procedures and update documentation.
  • Maintain customer rapport by listening, resolving concerns, and answering questions.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following published standards and policies.
  • Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and/or reading technical publications.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of telecommunications technologies and products.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand technical documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system problems.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships.

Compensation and Benefits: The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
