Position Overview

Job Title: Senior Architectural Leader – Luxus

Essential Qualifications and Expertise

The primary responsibilities encompass the creation of designs, production of drawings and specifications; project programming; administration of contracts; maintaining client relationships, and formulating project scopes and pricing proposals across a diverse range of residential, commercial, and industrial initiatives. Experience in project planning is advantageous.

Ideal candidates must hold a valid architectural license in Florida or be eligible for licensure through reciprocity with another state. A minimum of five years of direct experience in architectural design and production is required. A robust understanding of project design and documentation, along with demonstrated project management capabilities, is essential. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, and Photoshop is preferred, although a strong support team of designers and CAD technicians is available.

The candidate should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate the ability to excel in both independent and collaborative settings. A proactive, detail-oriented individual with experience managing multiple projects, exceptional client service skills, and the capacity to communicate effectively with, coordinate, and mentor design team members at all levels, as well as engage with administrative and business development personnel, is sought.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Licensed professional architect.
  • Proficient in programming, conceptual plans, and elevations for design development and construction documents.
  • Experience with Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Capable of preparing code analyses, drawings, specifications, design evaluations, and construction cost estimates.
  • Experience in construction-related services, including shop drawing reviews, responding to requests for information, periodic site observations, and occasional field designs.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, designers, and contractors on project design and construction.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, including consistent interaction with project management software.
    • Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • 5+ years of architectural experience.

Most importantly, the candidate should be responsible, eager to share knowledge and learn, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A sense of urgency and a drive to succeed, along with the ability to lead and mentor others, are crucial.
