Job Title: Environmental Engineer II

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer II to join our team at Carpenter Technology Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance in environmental affairs, ensuring compliance with standards, and evaluating the effectiveness of environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to support environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance environmental performance and reduce environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address environmental issues and opportunities.
  • Conduct environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain environmental management systems and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to employees on environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in safety or manufacturing.
  • Experience with environmental sampling, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
