Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
* Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
* Analyze and recommend improvements to laboratory operations, including workflow, staffing, and equipment needs.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services with other healthcare services.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including quality control and quality assurance data.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of laboratory policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field, such as clinical laboratory science or a related field.
* Current license to practice as a clinical laboratory technologist in New York State.
* 4 years of technical experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with 0-2 years of leadership or management experience.
* Master\u2019s degree with 2 years of technical experience may be considered in lieu of experience.
Salary Range:
$79,880-$136,340/year
