About the Opportunity

Our Premium Audit group plays a critical role in conducting audits on property & casualty commercial lines policies to establish accurate classifications and exposures, ensuring compliance with company, industry, and state regulations. As a Premium Auditor, you'll conduct complex audits with limited oversight, providing guidance to less experienced auditors as needed. Your work will contribute to the success of our Enterprise Operations teams and help drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth audits of commercial lines policies, including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Auto, to determine proper classifications and exposures.
  • Review financial and accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate audit findings to customers, agents, and business partners, providing clear explanations of changes to premium exposures.
  • Develop relationships with customers, agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and outcomes.
  • May provide guidance and support to less experienced auditors, helping to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business.
  • Three years of experience in premium audit or a related field, with a strong understanding of commercial lines policies and regulations.
  • Completion of APA 91 and 92 training programs.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
