Job OverviewCollabera is seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist to join our team. As a Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing policies and benefit plans, including life, long-term disability, long-term care insurance, retirement, profit sharing, and pension plans. You will also stay up to date on current benefit trends and legislative requirements, research beneficiary, assignment, and claims issues, and train team members on benefit plans. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of benefit programs and life insurance rules relating to benefits, advanced PC skills, and a commitment to customer service and a team-oriented work environment. Leadership skills, attention to detail, and strong follow-up abilities are also essential. If you have 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience and a Bachelor's Degree, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop policies and benefit plans.
  • Stay up to date on current benefit trends and legislative requirements.

  • Train team members on benefit plans.

  • Document server repository experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential PII professionally.
  • Experience with workflow systems.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
