Senior Relationship Manager

Job Summary
The Senior Relationship Manager will provide direction and leadership to affluent clients, delivering on Berkshire Bank's franchise power. This role will work collaboratively with the MyBanker Team Leader to ensure alignment and proper prioritization to achieve short and long-term business strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-service banking to high-value clients and oversee a portfolio of simple and/or packaged product account relationships.
- Consult with new and existing clients regarding their financial needs, following a diagnostic sales and service approach. Identify sales opportunities and follow through to close; deepen customer relationships through cross-selling.
- Interact daily with the client base at bank branches, clients' homes, and places of business to provide a high-touch, personalized customer experience with availability seven days a week.
- Work directly with the MyBanker Leader to develop consistent and specific sales strategies, priorities, targets, performance standards, marketing plans, and accomplishments.
- Proactively build internal and external visibility with other lines of business within the organization.
- Continually build a network of internal and external centers of influence to further enhance the client experience and exceed customers' expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Requirements
- BA or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of experience in a financial sales environment with proven results
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage Salesforce; proven coaching skills
- Demonstrated experience servicing the needs of high-net-worth individuals with a premier level of customer service
- Commercial/business banking experience
- Ability to set strategic direction and deliver business solutions
- Demonstrates a high level of Leadership Behaviors
- Strong client management skills
- Strong business development skills
- Extensive understanding of financial markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization
