Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients through various communication channels including phone, text, and email.
- Register patients following established guidelines and maintain accurate demographic information.
- Manage the daily schedule for the virtual clinic, confirming appointments and ensuring all necessary pre-registration forms are completed.
- Provide patients with information regarding office procedures and policies.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and uphold privacy standards.
- Assist in resolving patient inquiries and complaints, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team-building activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a medical environment, preferably in a call center or front desk role.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
- Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are preferred.
Compensation:
This position falls within salary band 37, offering an hourly rate of $20.80, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
