Facilities Technician

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our facilities, ensuring that our buildings and equipment are in good working order.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct safety and preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and prevent accidents.
- Assist in the maintenance and testing of emergency systems, including fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
- Complete basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs, as well as carpentry and painting tasks.
- Participate in departmental projects and initiatives to improve facilities and services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of general maintenance experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience a plus.
