About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Portfolio Strategist to join our Algo Credit team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a systematic credit strategy comprised of liquid positions across corporate bonds, credit default swaps, and ETFs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in risk management and a passion for quantitative analysis.

Our client is a market-neutral, global multi-strategy hedge fund with over $2 billion in assets under management.

Their credit portfolios consist of liquid positions across corporate capital structures and their derivatives (corporate bonds, credit default swaps, ETFs, and equities).

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing a systematic credit strategy.
  • Monitoring and managing portfolio risk, ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines.
  • Conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Collaborating with the research team to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will have excellent analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, and strong communication and presentation skills.

We offer a competitive salary of around $200,000 per annum, reflecting the level of expertise required for this position.
