Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Holy Spirit Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography exams and procedures for use by physicians and radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in computed tomography technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
  • Preferred qualifications include CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of CT hire date, two years of experience as a registered radiology technologist, prior computed tomography experience in a trauma/cardiac facility, and venipuncture competence.
