We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of computed tomography images.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
- Position patients correctly for scanning and use computerized tomography equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and maintain accurate patient records.
- Administer radiocontrast agents as needed and follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
