YOUR ROLE

In this position, you will oversee a team of leaders and hold overall responsibility for managing daily warehouse functions to ensure optimal and effective site operations. Your primary duties will encompass staffing, warehouse management, financial oversight, and customer relations. You will adopt a proactive approach to succession planning, enhancing team capabilities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish long-term labor requirements based on sales projections.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security protocols.
  • Implement systems for the upkeep of the facility, equipment, cleanliness, and sanitation programs.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set strategic objectives.
  • Guide warehouse supervisory staff to meet established targets.
  • Oversee all transportation operations to align with company standards.
  • Assist Production Department Managers in facilitating a seamless inventory flow for shipping and storage.
  • Develop a standardized training program for all operational staff and provide necessary training.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a distribution setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Healthcare or GxP-related distribution environment.
  • At least 7 years in a managerial role within a distribution context; experience with third-party logistics is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • 2+ years of experience leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in cold chain storage and distribution.
  • Knowledge of healthcare distribution licensing requirements and the capability to obtain a personal designated representative license.
