Role Overview:

  • Support the commissioning and qualification of automated vision systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide leadership for operational procedures and quality controls, ensuring a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
  • Act as a technical leader for issue escalation, resolving complex problems efficiently.
  • Train and develop operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in performance evaluations to drive growth and improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to foster collaboration and understanding.
  • Operate equipment and lead shift operations, ensuring smooth production processes.
  • Drive departmental objectives, aligning with company goals and strategies.
  • Backup for the Supervisor when needed, providing support and guidance.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas.
  • Flexibility and problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed, with a flexible schedule.
  • Must pass a physical exam, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, with a valid work permit.

Preferred Skills:

  • Scientific or technical degrees or certifications, with a focus on quality assurance or production management.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, with a commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in operations or the pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of production processes.
  • Familiarity with automated inspection equipment and manual processes, with a focus on quality control.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles, with a commitment to efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
