Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to support our Enterprise Infrastructure Group. This role is integral to our Production Services/SRE Team, focusing on Asset Management Technology - Cloud Platform solutions. The successful candidate will deliver level 2 application support and collaborate with multiple business units, requiring a robust understanding of application and infrastructure support, particularly in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for cloud computing environments, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Apply best practices in Resiliency Engineering, Automation, Observability, and Chaos Testing.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of technology professionals.
  • Analyze system performance in production and troubleshoot issues reported by users.
  • Identify areas for optimization and lead initiatives for improvement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems and platform operations.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and operational automation.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in managing 24/7 production environments.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture to enhance platform resiliency.
  • Familiarity with SRE principles, including observability and governance.
  • Proficient in Python scripting and Kubernetes administration.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing, VMs, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Experience with CI tools like Jenkins and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Grafana.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
