Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned data professional with expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics to lead critical projects that inform strategic decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to optimize key business functions such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and customer personalization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for data-driven improvements and provide actionable insights to support business strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows to ensure seamless integration of data sources across various systems.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.
  • Work with engineering teams to implement models in production environments and ensure their robustness and scalability.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply new techniques to improve existing processes and models.

Requirements

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience in libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Pandas.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Experience working with large datasets, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate complex business problems into data science solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry is a plus.
