We are seeking a seasoned Physician Assistant Leader to join our dynamic team at Tandym Health in New York City.
About the OpportunityThis is an exceptional chance for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact as the Chief Physician Assistant, Interventional Cardiology.
- Department: Cardiology
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Four 9.5-hour shifts)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Interviewing and training new Physician Assistants for the Interventional Cardiology section
- Providing general supervision of PAs, including reviewing performance and assisting with disciplinary actions
- Preparing work schedules and assisting with payroll management for department PAs
- Collaborating in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
- Serving as a liaison between department staff, nursing units, referring physicians, house staff officers, and secretarial staff
- Handling administrative tasks related to PAs in the department
- Participating in leadership activities and training initiatives
- Overseeing all PAs within the Interventional Cardiology section across both the Moses and Weiler campuses
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program
- NYS Physician Assistant license and certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- At least 5 years of leadership experience as a Physician Assistant
- Proven ability to manage staff and lead a team
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 per annum, based on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
