About Play is currently seeking a qualified and caring Infant and Toddler Caregiver to join our team. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families.

Total Compensation: The successful candidate can expect a total compensation package of approximately $46,780 annually, consisting of a base salary of $40,000 and travel mileage reimbursement up to a maximum of $565 monthly. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field, and possess one year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old. Prior early interventionist experience is preferred.

Main Responsibilities: As an Infant and Toddler Caregiver, you will be responsible for the following main duties:

  • Providing early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
  • Conducting family training sessions in the home, daycare, or natural environment setting.
  • Offering training, education, and support to families in the areas of child development, parenting, and family functioning.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote the development of the child.
  • Monitoring the progress of the child and family.

Travel Requirements: This position involves frequent travel throughout Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties in South Carolina, and the surrounding areas. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this role.
