Dedicated Early Interventionist Needed for About Play Team

About Play is currently seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Early Interventionist to join our team in Beaufort, Colleton, and Walterboro counties in South Carolina. As an Early Interventionist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with families and children with developmental delays or disabilities, making a lasting impact on their lives.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old, preferably in early intervention or teaching. A Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field is required. Furthermore, the ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time is preferred.

The estimated annual compensation for this role is approximately $46,780, comprising a base salary of $40,000 and mileage reimbursement of up to $565 monthly. We offer a generous benefits package, including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Your primary responsibilities as an Early Interventionist will involve providing family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. You will also conduct family training sessions with caregivers and children in their homes, daycares, or natural environment settings.
