Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at JD Home Healthcare. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive personal care, guidance, and support to our clients in their homes and communities.

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting client independence, and ensuring client safety. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with behavioral and personal care services
  • Accompany clients on recreational and leisure activities
  • Implement client care plans and goals
  • Monitor and report client progress
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure client needs are met

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • General computer skills and knowledge
  • Reliable transportation and insurance
  • Clear driving record
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with varying needs and diagnoses
  • CPR and First Aid certification

Compensation:

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
