About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Provider to join our team at PCS - Eastwood. As a Direct Support Provider, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of individuals in our residential setting.

Job Summary

The Direct Support Provider will provide training and assistance to individuals with daily personal cares, medication administration, community activities, money management, meal preparation, laundry assistance, and leisure activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assist individuals with personal cares
  • Instruct and assist individuals in food preparation, clean-up, and sanitary practices
  • Encourage grooming and dress according to individual preferences, cultural considerations, and social norms
  • Administer medications and treatments as trained
  • Communicate concerns, suggestions, and potential problems to supervisors in an accurate, prompt, and respectful manner
  • Chart daily program information
  • Complete cleaning and assist individuals with cleaning tasks
Requirements
  • Must be 17 years of age or as dictated by licensure
  • Must pass DHS background clearance
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
