About the Role:

Arbor Rose is seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our nursing team for our Assisted Living residents. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Your schedule will be full-time days with an every other weekend or every third weekend commitment, depending on the needs of our residents.

As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will serve as a designee in the absence of the Wellness Director and provide relief as needed. You will work closely with the Wellness Director to assist, direct, plan, and coordinate services for providing optimal person-centered care to our residents. Additionally, you will serve as the ALSA's Infection Preventionist and obtain the necessary training certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication administration and delegation of supervision of self-administered medication as listed
  • Development of the client service program and instructions for assisted living aide services
  • Coordination of services with the client, family, and other appropriate individuals involved in the client service program
  • Serve as the ALSA's Infection Preventionist along with the SALSA

Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid CT RN License from an accredited college or university
  • Must have experience as an RN in homecare, Assisted Living, SNF, or other related medical facilities
  • Must have the ability to work with our older/dementia population
