Ameritas Sales Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our team at Ameritas. As a Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about the sales process, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn about the sales process and develop your skills with our training team.
  • Explore all areas that contribute to the sales process, including underwriting, National Accounts, Provider Networks, Sales Support, and community outreach.
  • Participate in Sales Rep ride-a-longs to gain insight into the daily activities of a Sales Rep.
  • Attend broker meetings to learn about the group dental, vision, and hearing business.
  • Utilize and master our SalesForce Platform.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a school program, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance.
  • Preferred Sophomore or Junior Candidate.
  • Summer internship from June to August, able to work full-time over the summer months.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Strong technical ability, along with problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner.
