Acute Care for Elderly (ACE) Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care for Elderly (ACE) team at ChristianaCare Hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients and families to deliver high-quality care that supports older adults facing acute illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients aged 70 and above, focusing on maintaining function, providing education, and ensuring safety.
  • Manage a caseload of 5 medical patients per shift, working collaboratively with a Nurse Practitioner, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in relationship-based care, building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
  • BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire date.
  • One year of experience as an RN; Gerontology Certification preferred.
  • BLS required.
