We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Unit at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.
As a Gerontology Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to older adults facing acute illness. Our focus is on maintaining function, providing education, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities include managing a team of 5 medical patients per shift and collaborating with a Nurse Practitioner, attending physician, pharmacy, physical therapist, and other support staff.
