Job Summary

The Salon Director in Training plays a pivotal role in driving store performance, fostering exceptional client service, and maintaining operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual will oversee and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company objectives and lead by example in all company operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Leadership and Development: Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members, provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance, and generate sales reports to maintain inventory and assist with other Salon Director functions.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Assist the Salon Director in controlling top-line revenue and expenses, maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service, and control labor costs.
  • Client Service: Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience, meeting personal sales expectations, and maintaining a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
Requirements
  • Management and Sales Experience: Proven track record in management and sales, with a strong understanding of client service techniques and operational practices.
  • Beauty Industry and Customer Service Experience: Preference given to candidates with experience in the beauty industry and customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Leadership and Team Building: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor, and team building skills to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment, lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, and perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
